At the last minute we decided to take a trip over the long weekend to Oregon to pick up a new quad frame to replace the bent one. We had a really nice time, the trailer is so much better than the camper....way more comfortable and roomy! I can't believe how bumpy all the highways are in the states, you start to feel sick after a couple minutes and we were on the road for 8 hours plus!
We took Cali to see the new Shrek movie, she was the only one shouting out "Pheona" and "Wow, Crazy"! The story to go with see this movie is that we had to drive one town over where there was a theater playing Shrek and we went to buy our ticket....they asked how old Cali was and said sorry that this is an upper scale movie theater and they do not allow children under 5! Who has ever heard of something like that?? You can't take your child to a children's movie?? Anyways, we drove to the next town and were able to find a theater with only one movie playing....which luckily was Shrek!
The Shrek movie was playing in 3D!
Happy little Cali! I can't tell everyone enough how proud I am of my little girl, she decided that this weekend was going to be the time when she figured out the whole potty business. It did make for an interesting trip, lots of trips to the washroom! On Tuesday morning I put her in her big girl panties and she had no accidents all day, so she is in her panties again today and we'll see how it goes! I'm so lucky to be Cali's Mommy, I wouldn't have it any other way! :)
