My Little Water Baby!!

This is Cali's second set of swimming lessons and finally someone came to watch us....whoopee! Nana and Elliott came to watch today and were able to take some pictures of us. Cali is such a good little swimmer, she already seems to know what to do with her legs and arms. In the last couple of lessons Cali has been splashing up a storm, she really loves to be in the water! She is also the center of attention in our group, always smiling, laughing and trying to play with the other kids!:)

Outdoor Fun!

Cali is 11 months old today!!

I can't believe that Cali is already 11 months old, boy has the time gone by fast! Cali weighs just under 20 lbs now and she has gotten very tall, I don't know her exact height but she is fitting the leg length of 12- 18 month pants. Cali just did the sweetest thing today, we were looking at one of her books with all kinds of animals in it and she started putting her lips to the pages. I watched her do it a few times and realized she was giving the animals a kiss on their faces. I said "Cali can you give Mommy and kiss?" and she leaned in and gave me a kiss on the lips! She's so sweet!! Cali has been learning how to crawl and pull herself up just in the last week or so. She has such a strong personality for a little girl, if you take her from something that she is doing oh boy do you get to hear about it! We are looking forward to Cali's first birthday next month and really not looking forward to me going back to work. But on the bright side it looks like we have Cali's daycare all figured out and she is set to go. She's going to have so much fun because she will get to play with two other little girls every day! I am so proud to be Cali's Mommy, I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful life with a wonderful family! :)

Baby Aaron is 1 month old!

We went for a visit over to the Island to see Katie and Baby Aaron yesterday. Baby Aaron already weighs 13lbs, he's catching Cali fast, she weighs just under 20lbs. Aaron is so cute and very cuddly, he seems to prefer sleeping on his stomach over his back and Cali is just the opposite! We had such a nice visit and we miss them already, can't wait till next time! :)

Little miss independent!

A couple days ago Cali was in the living room playing with her toys, I heard some whining and I took a look and this is how I found her!

My little girl is growing up so fast!

It begins!!! Cali is picking up this hanging on business so quickly. It took her only about two days to figure out how to hold on under her own control. She is wanting her independence so badly that if you try to take her from where she is standing she gets very upset! It's so cute to see her doing new things, she is a little daredevil though. Cali has no fear of heights and really enjoys being surprised or scared, she just laughs and laughs! That's my girl, but she's just like her Daddy!

Mommy & Cali! I was playing with the timer on the camera today and it was pretty neat because the flashing light kept Cali's attention, the only thing is it's hard to get a smile. She's still cute though! :)

Happy New Year!!

New Year's Dinner at our house. What a yummy dinner thanks to Mom and Elliott! It was really nice to have dinner with my family before heading off to a friends house party. We had a really fun New Year's!! All our best to everyone in 2009!
