Caught on tape!

The night after we got back from the Aquarium Cali decided that was it, she was going to walk! She was going back and forth in the living room for about half an hour. Cali's going to be running around in no time, I'm so proud of her, she's doing so well!

Our busy weekend full of fun!

We had a really nice visit on Friday with Auntie Diane. Mom, Elliott and Auntie Diane stayed for lunch and we chatted about life!

Auntie Holly and I took Cali to the Aquarium on Saturday, the last time she went she was about 2 months old. Cali loves looking in all the tanks and being able to get up close to the fish. She was so excited the whole time we were there her little heart was thumping away!

Our visit to the Island!

We had such a nice visit with Katie, Ian and Aaron. I can't believe it went by so fast and I already have to go back to work! Little Aaron is changing so much, I can't believe how much he looks like our cousins Elizabeth and David, the pictures don't really show it but in person it's pretty neat to see how much he resembles them! We got to see baby pictures of Big Aaron, Katie had the photo album, and his baby pictures compared to Declan look identical. I think if you were to put a picture of each of them together you wouldn't know who was who! So now I know who Declan looks like, his Daddy!! Anyways, hopefully we will get a chance to come visit again really soon, it's always nice to have good chats with your sister and pick on Mom of course...hehe!! Mom you know we all love you and you are an amazing Nana to all your grandchildren!

Aaron was showing us his impressive moves in his jumperoo and Cali was doing a little dance to the music! I can't believe Aaron is so coordinated already, to be able to jump like he does is really amazing!

Cali met her 2nd cousin Kristy for the first time, we had a really nice visit although it was short!

Cali took her first steps!!!

Cali took her first steps today!! We all kept saying that she's going to start walking any day now and tonight was it! I was sitting on the floor with her and looked over at her and she was walking to me! Cali took about 4 steps before hanging on to me and then took another 4 steps to Greg and then back to me. It's pretty amazing how quickly she is learning new things right now, you pretty much just have to show her something once and she gets it. A couple days ago I showed her how to brush her hair and now you ask her to do it and she does, she's so smart! Cali has become such a little girl all the sudden, what happened to my baby.....time goes by so fast! Auntie Holly came for a visit and we attempted to do Cali's hair for the first time......this is how it turned out! hehe...little poofs are so cute and funny looking at the same time!

I got Cali this trainer cup and she was so proud of herself that she was drinking her milk without any help! This only lasted a little while before the milk was everywhere, but we'll keep on trying!

Why does it feel like winter on Spring Break!?!

We went for a walk with our friends Steve and Miriam and their daughter Danica and boy was it cold out. It was so cold that we had to put Cali in her snow suit, she was not happy, but at least she was warm!

Visiting with Great Nana!

We had a really nice visit with Nana! She was very happy, telling stories and holding Cali. There is only 90 some odd years between them, which is pretty neat! Nana and Cali were very happy to visit with each other and Cali was the hit at the old folks home......she brought a smile to every face in the room!

I've never seen the family resemblance between Lilah and I before seeing this picture. I think the shape of our faces, our chins and our bottom lip look so similar. That's really cool, hopefully you see it to!?

Happy 1st Birthday Cali! This was an exciting 1st birthday, we celebrated it for one whole week with all the different parties for her. It was a very special birthday for her and thank you to everyone for coming to her party and for all her wonderful gifts!
