My little girl is growing up so fast...

Cali is just over 2 1/2 years old now and she is the absolute joy of my life! I have been enjoying watching her grow so much, she is so intelligent and just sucks in all the information you can throw at her. Cali can do mostly everything by herself now, always saying "I can do it Mommy". I think it is so fun that Cali is the most girly girl with the nail polish, crossing her legs and always wanting to wear a pretty dress....but she is also so into mechanical things, dirt, bugs and anything that goes Vrroommm, don't know where that could have come from! :) Lately Cali has been telling us that she "loves" things and "my favorite things are", it's really sweet to hear her say those words and to know what it means to have favorites! Cali can be pretty bossy at times and she thinks that she rules the world, I think she gets it from the tv and Greg thinks she is just copying me.....nah, couldn't be me! She is also just as sweet as can be, compassionate, sympathetic and loves to give big hugs and kisses. Cali has been spending lots of time with Lilah and Declan now that Steph has taken over watching her, it's really neat to see how different kids teach other kids to play and learn. Since going there everyday I have notice that Cali is able to play more easily by herself, not needing my constant attention. I also just really enjoy watching all the kids grow and change and love each other! I can't wait to watch her as a big sister to our next baby which is due in November, I think she is going to be such a big help and a wonderful sister!
