Cali Turns 4 Today!!!

We had a Lady's Tea Lunch today for a combined birthday party for Cali and I! Holly made these amazing cookies for our tea party!Holly also made this beautiful cake, she is so talented and we appreciate all her hard work! :)

Happy Valentines Day!

We had a really wonderful Valentines Day! Greg surprised us with roses and cards left on the table this morning, I took the day off work and made us a Greek dinner and Mom & Elliott came over to join us! My happy little Sophie! She loved the little dress I got her, she was twirling and giggling in it! :) Cali was a little unimpressed with everything today...can you tell, what a fake smile...she did end up being really happy after dinner, Cali actually set the table, put dip in the bowls and helped with the drinks...what a big helper! :)

This picture was from yesterday at Cali and Presley's preschool class, they exchanged cards and had a party...it sure looked like fun!

Happy 3rd Birthday Declan!

Happy Birthday Delcan, I can't believe you are 3 already! You are such a special little guy, so funny and so happy...and you look so much like your Daddy! :) We went bowling for Declan's party, it was so much fun!

Aaron made a really cool cake for Declan with a snake on it which I heard Declan requested.

The girls are growing up way to fast...

My precious little girls are growing up way too fast! Cali is turning 4 in February and Sophie is just over 1. Sophie is such an adventurous little girl these days! She has figured out how to climb, now there is no stopping her! She is such a fun little girl, so easy going and really giggly. Sophie is saying quite a few things now-dada, mama (usually only when she's upset), kitty, puppy, tickle tickle, Cali and probably more I can't think of right now. Sophie is at the stage right now where she gets quite upset when something she wants gets taken away from her! She's probably had enough of being the youngest of all the kids, it's quite amusing to see her run when she knows something is about to be taken from her! :) Sophie is so wonderful and special, I can't wait to see how much she changes in the next month!

The other day when Cali was out with Greg, Sophie had gotten into Cali's undie drawer...it was so cute watching her strut around the house with the undies on, she was quite proud of herself!)

Cali turns 4 in just under 1 month, she is growing and changing so much! Cali has such a sweet side to her so loving, caring and thoughtful but at the drop of a hat she switches gears...I'm hoping that it's just her age but I do come from a family of strong opinionated women, oh boy! I am so proud of Cali, she is learning so much. She recognizes letters and numbers, she is doing well at trying to write...she does get frustrated easily but I try to encourage her to keep trying. Cali has such a wonderful imagination, she makes up all kinds of stories and games. She has three favorite toys these days, her buddy and kitty named Stripes(after Lilah & Delcan's cat) and a puppy she named Sammie(after our late dog sammie) Cali is a very busy girl, always wanting to be on the go. She is so special to me and I can't wait to see what she learns how to do next! :)

Cali has been such a big help in the kitchen, she always wants to know what I'm making and how she can help! I find it really fun, most of the time, to teach her how to make things...lots of the time we end up with a huge mess all over the counter and floor...soon she will learn how to use the mop! :)Everyone has always said that Cali looks so much like Greg but as she's getting older I think she looks so much like me! :)

I am having the time of my life raising my sweet girls, it's a lot of hard work but so rewarding and worth all the time, money & effort...I always wanted to be a Mommy and it's the best job in the world! Love you girls! :)

Snow Days!

I can't believe the weather this week, so snowy, windy and cold! The girls are so excited about the snow which makes it fun but I am definitely not a fan of this weather! Today Cali's preschool was opened so we went and only 2 other kids had come, it's really cold and windy up on the mountain! This is Sophie's first time walking in the snow and she was just thrilled...she was giggling away! :)
